The curriculum for the MSc Public Health is informed by the public health standards of the Faculty of Public Health and the UK Public Health Register. It also meets the Association for Nutrition’s standards for course accreditation and is recognised by the International Union for Health Promotion and Education. These standards encompass the competencies, knowledge, understanding, values and attitudes required for the ethical effective practice in all the areas of public health. The standards are consistent with the competencies required for service and consultancy around the Sustainable Development Goals in global health.
