- Examine the psychosocial needs of patients' with acute care needs and their significant others.
- Evaluate relevant interventions in the management and recovery of acutely ill patients' care.
- Apply the principles of holistic assessment, assessment tools and the use of technology in the care of patients with acute care needs.
- Explore the professional complexities of managing patient care across acute care settings.
