This is a portfolio to evidence all the academic and clinical work carried out during PG training.

Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:

  • Evidence of BABCP minimum training standards and eligibility for practitioner accreditation (PG Dip in CBT for Anxiety and Depression (IAPT)) Partial evidence of BABCP minimum training standards and eligibility for practitioner accreditation (PG Dip in CBT (Level 1))

Syllabus

We offer two CBT Diplomas, with slightly different portfolio requirements. The handbook gives full details (see PG Diploma Portfolio Front Sheet). Requirements include: • Reports from University supervisors - rated satisfactory • Reports from NHS CBT supervisor - rated satisfactory (IAPT students) • Student reflective reports on clinical supervision • Log of supervised clinical practice - for IAPT students the requirement is 200 hours; for Level 1 students there is no minimum requirement, but if you intend to seek accreditation you will need to accrue 200 hours prior to applying to BABCP • Log of University supervision hours - minimum of 35 BABCP hours • Log of NHS supervision hours - minimum of 35 BABCP hours (IAPT students) • Patient summary sheets - minimum of 3 closely supervised patients with a range of presentations (see BABCP.com for definition of close supervision: http://www.babcp.com/Ac...tion-Introduction.aspx) • Patient summary sheets - minimum of 5 additional patients (IAPT students) • Marker feedback for 3 formative and 3 summative therapy recordings that reach specified levels of competence on the CTS-R - at least three must score at 36 or above • Written or orally presented case reports - minimum of 3 (IAPT students require 4) • Essays - minimum of 2 • Evidence of observation of BABCP accredited (or eligible) CBT therapists - minimum of 6 • Missed session plans for any taught sessions missed
