This study aims to identify positive and negative impacts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)-related work experience as perceived by pupils, teachers and placement organisations. It also explores how the HE sector could assist in addressing shortcomings to encourage students to consider STEM-related subjects at university.
