Federico Romei is a Senior Research Assistant within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Federico is currently working on the design, manufacturing and testing of spacecraft structures using metal additive manufacturing as part of the ReDSHIFT Horizon 2020 project. Prior to that, Federico did a PhD titled “High Temperature Resistojets for All-Electric Spacecraft” in the same research group. Federico collaborates with Surrey Satellite Technology Limited in the development of high-temperature resistojet propulsion systems.
