Mr Michael Hogg is Teaching Fellow in Engineering Foundation Year within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

I worked in retail management for 25 years. Returned to education as a Foundation Year student in 2005. Undertook my B.Sc. in Mathematics in 2006 and graduated in 2009. I was offered the chance to study for a Ph.D. in the General Relativity Group within Mathematical Sciences. Upon completion, in 2013, I started work in my current position.

Supervising PGTA’s for EFY workshops. Member of the special considerations committee.
