Dr Matt Grote is a Research Fellow within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Graduated from the University of Bristol with a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering in 1995.

Worked as an airline pilot from 1997 to 2012.

Gained a PgDip in Surveying from the University of Reading in 2010.

Graduated from University of Southampton with a PhD in 2017.

Started as a Research Fellow in the Transportation Research Group in October 2017.

Research interests

EngD research project.
Title: Developing Tools to Determine the Environmental Impact of Transport Interventions.
Supervisors: Professor Ian Williams, Professor John Preston & Simon Kemp.
