Computational Engineering encompasses multidisciplinary research using a range of analytical, computational and experimental techniques. We achieve impact through applying this sophisticated mix of engineering methods to real-world problems from industry and academia.

High Performance Computing Facilities:

Rapid prototyping:

  • Dimension BST1200-es 3D printer 

The printer is used to create prototypes as part of iterative computational design processes, as well as fully functional end products. For example it was used to create the ASTRA high altitude balloon platform, a fully rapid prototyped aerospace vehicle.
