Moira Sugden is a Lecturer in Health Sciences, University of Southampton and Practice Academic Co-ordinator for the University on the Isle of Wight. Moira's clinical and academic expertise is in working with Older People especially when there are complex needs which cover the biopsychosocial spectrum.
In teaching, Moira prefers an experiential and facilitative style particularly using action learning, solution focused practice reflection and coaching when working with pre registration, post qualification and post graduate health sciences students.
Now more than ever, there is a need for knowledge, understanding and compassion when working with the needs of patients especially those who are older with complex issues.
