Highfield Campus: Shackleton Building

Some teaching and research activities may take place on the Highfield Campus. This is home to a range of academic disciplines including Geography (Shackleton Building - B44), Maths (B54), Physics (B46), Civil Engineering and the Environment (B7 and others), Chemistry (B29/30) and Biological Sciences (B85). Student services (B37) and most other university-wide services are also based here.

Getting Here

There is a frequent uni-link bus service (routes U1 and U6) between Highfield Campus and NOCS (sometimes called 'Dock Gate 4'). The U1 route also serves both Southampton Central train station, and Southampton Airport plus Parkway train station. Highfield Campus is also within easy reach of most halls of residence.
