About
I am a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Academic Centre for International Students (ACIS), part of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Southampton.
I have been involved with teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) since 2002 and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) since 2010. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Leeds in Linguistics and Phonetics and RSA Cambridge CELTA from the Leeds Beckett University. I also hold an MA in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching and MSc in Web Science, both from the University of Southampton.
I am currently undertaking a Ph.D. in the Web Science Institute and School of Education at the University of Southampton, and my research focuses on the attitudes towards, beliefs, and experiences of using online learning technologies and methodologies in second language education. I am also the convenor of the Southampton Postgraduate E-learning Group (PEGasus).
