Research interests

My research is related to the cognitive psychology and-more specifically-the perceptual and cognitive processes that support reading and other visual-cognitive tasks. I use computer modelling, eye tracking, and brain imaging (ERP and fMRI) to understand how vision, attention, cognition, and motor control interact dynamically to produce the complex eye-movement behaviour that is observed when humans read or perform other complex real-world tasks (e.g., looking for an object in a scene).
