Research project

LifeLab Sydney

Project overview

Following on from the success of LifeLab, we were approached by collaborators at the Sydney Institute for Women, Children and Their Families (SIWCF) who were interested in setting up a collaboration agreement to evaluate the feasibility of developing a similar programme in Sydney, Australia. We developed a collaboration agreement for a ‘LifeLab Sydney’ project which seeks to design, develop, deliver and evaluate an educational intervention in the Sydney local health district as part of a strategy to support the wellbeing of young people and their families.

Over the course of 18months, the LifeLab materials will be redesigned, working in partnership with educators from schools in Sydney and the Department for Education in New South Wales, Australia. The LifeLab materials will be mapped to the curriculum and teacher professional development provided. A feasibility study, working with 4 schools in Sydney will be conducted to assess the value and opportunity of developing and delivering a LifeLab Sydney programme.
