Research project: Making Contemporary Sculpture

An investigation of the real mechanics of making contemporary sculpture.

The working methods of British-based sculptors will be charted through the development of individual works from start to finish.
How does source material and influences enter the work, and how does meaning evolve? Documentation of studio practice, location photography, and themed interviews with the artists:
