This module is designed for you to develop a self-initiated project from a range of initial starting points with guidance from your tutors. A series of structured creative workshops will then instigate a focussing of your ideas. You will undertake experimentation in the studios, workshops or through other relevant School resources that are appropriate to your project development. As such you will be encouraged to source suitable materials and working methods to realise your ideas and attend appropriate technical demonstrations and workshops when required.

The module will encourage self-selection and engagement with methods and techniques which will allow you to challenge your thinking and test your ideas thoroughly against stated audience and case studies of equivalent industry examples. You will develop an increasing confident approach to research methodologies to deepen insight into your chosen themes and develop effective and engaging visual outputs which best exemplify your self-initiated intentions.
