Bioscience and biotechnology research

Welcome to our bioscience and biotechnology research case studies

Our Crop Systems Engineers were the first to 3D image live wheat root hairs in soil, which is already unlocking the potential of modelling approaches, allowing quantification of sites within the soil matrix.

We are also helping food waste digestion and algal culture pond technologies convert to an industrial scale and carrying out research in areas including biofilm-associated infection and antimicrobial resistance (AMR), clean and sustainable drinking water, food security, corrosion and biofouling.

Case studies

We will be showcasing some great examples of our research in the area of bioscience and biotechnology here soon. Please do come back to take a look.

In the meantime why not explore related research through our research groups, or find out more about key staff in this area (see below).
