Research project: English Teachers' Network

Currently Active:
Yes

Funded by the Higher Education Academy and the Edyth Jeffries Shakespeare Project, the English Teachers' Network is a collaboration between English at the University of Southampton, schools and other Higher Education institutions in the Southampton area.

The project’s aims are to enable dialogue between teachers and academics and to ensure the sustainability and growth of our undergraduate placements programme. The project is contributing to the educational experience of local children by not only enriching the content and delivery of the curriculum through innovative classroom techniques and materials, but by also providing contact with undergraduates who can introduce them to the idea of university-level study.

To find out more about the kinds of workshops run through the project, visit the project website.
