Research project: An investigation into the use of the EORTC Core instrument and the possible need of a module for the assessment of Health Related Quality of Life in Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) with cancer

Currently Active:

In recent years, there has been increased emphasis in health care on the development and use of patient reported outcomes (PROMs). For one group of patients, Adolescents and Young adults (AYA) with cancer (age range 12-25 years), this is especially relevant as they lag behind children and older adults in terms quality of life.

Project Overview

The aims of the study are:

1) to carry out an evaluation of the EORTC QLQ-C30 for suitability of use in AYA with cancer

2) to provide recommendations on a suitable assessment approach to assess Health Related Quality of Life in AYA with cancer
