188 GHz DNP polarizer

We have constructed a dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) polarizer using a 7 Tesla magnet and an Oxford flow-through cryostat. The DNP polarizer operates at a microwave frequency of 188 GHz. Equipment for performing 13C and 1H NMR experiments on the polarized sample is under construction.

A home-built dissolution and magnetic tunnel system allows rapid transport of hyperpolarized solutions into the main NMR magnet (500 MHz) for detection.

500MHz Solution NMR

This state-of-the-art triple-resonance 500 MHz solution NMR system is equipped with a wide range of solution NMR probes and also microimaging equipment including a 10mm BBO, a 5mm TBO, a 5mm BBI probes with z-gradient plus a MICWB40 micro-imaging probe equipped with 1H, 1H/13C and 1H/15N 10mm and 25mm resonators.  

We use this spectrometer to perform experiments on hyperpolarized substances generated by the adjacent DNP polarizer, as well as singlet NMR and diffusion NMR experiments.

400MHz WB NMR


A 400 MHz WB NMR system is coupled to a Bruker Neo Consolle and equipped with a 5mm and a 10mm solution NMR probes.  

We use this spectrometer to perform experiments on hyperpolarized substances generated by the adjacent DNP polarizer, as well as singlet NMR experiments.
