How to Apply

Applications for our MPhil/PhD and DM/PhD programmes are welcomed all year round.  Application deadlines for funded positions and our Integrated PhD may apply and will be stated on the relevant webpage / advert. 

All available studentships are advertised on the Faculty's studentship pages.  Details of available integrated studentships are also advertised on our Money Matters webpage. On submission of your application you will automatically be considered for any available Faculty of Medicine studentships for which you are eligible.

The application process

Before you begin, please ensure that you have read all the information relating to your chosen programme of study, such as entry requirements, application deadlines, funding, special requirements for overseas students.

Most programmes require additional supporting documentation to be submitted as part of the application process. These can be uploaded with the online application form. Decisions regarding admissions are not made until an application is considered to be complete. You will be sent an acknowledgement email as soon as we have received your application.

Follow these steps to submit your application:
1. Identify the programme(s) of study that you wish to apply for.
2. Check application requirements and programme entry requirements.
3. Ask yourself the following questions:

4. Go to the online application form and find your programme via the Programme Search page
5. Login or if new user create login ID
6. Fill in application details via application checklist
7. Upload supporting documents
8. Submit application
9. Use online tracking to track the progress of your application.
