External roles and responsibilities
I am leading research into innovative solutions to global green energy challenges. I take an active role in all aspects of the research environment, having published twenty-one papers in high impact journals and a book on CO2 redution with De Gruyter.
I have a great passion for teaching; I am a Fellow of AdvanceHE and I have given a number of classes for graduate courses and outreach lectures for young and international students. I am also proud to mentor a number of research students and peers through research, learning and career progression.
I greatly enjoy taking an active role in the wider scientific community; I have spoken at numerous international conferences, forged new collaborations with international research institutes and I am an active member of the Royal Society of Chemistry South West Regional Committee.
