About
Dr Eli Lazarus is interested in the dynamics of the neoenvironment: the rapidly changing physical and social world in which people live. He enjoys the puzzle of testing and exploring theory with empirical observations. His research process involves fieldwork, physical experiments, analysis of remotely sensed data, and numerical modelling, underpinned by theory and tools of complex systems. He is particularly drawn to coastal and fluvial settings.
