Upon leaving college, Chloe’s interest in Education led her to train as an apprentice teaching assistant. From there, Chloe worked as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and began to specialise in areas of social and emotional learning, pastoral assistance and special educational needs and disabilities. Chloe was part of one of the early cohorts of Emotional Learning Support Assistants to work in Hampshire, leading the provision in a large-scale primary school for children aged 4-11. Chloe went on to work as an unqualified Year 3 classroom teacher before studying BSc Education at the University of Southampton.
Chloe graduated from the University of Southampton with a high First-class degree in BSc Education and several notable awards, including the Dean’s List Award twice and Best Impact award for her time spent as the Academic President of the Southampton Education School.
Alongside her studies, she co-founded the Partnership for Educational Reform, a Student Partnership group that arose out of a need to address decolonisation, racial equity and inclusion in Higher Education Institutions within the UK. Chloe co-hosted the first Diversity and Equity in Education 2022 conference, which will be returning in 2023.
