About

Dr. Pushpender Kumar Sharma received his Master’s degree in Aug 2015 from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, India, and his Ph.D. degree in Feb 2020 from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, India, both in Aerospace Engineering. He then worked as a research fellow at the University of Southampton on the hypersonic transpiration cooling project from Sep 2020 to Aug 2022 with Prof. Ralf Deiterding and Prof. Neil Sandham. Since November 2022, he has been working on the exascale computing project (Excalibur) as a research fellow with Prof. Neil Sandham, focusing on high-speed compressible flows and shock boundary layer interactions using OpenSBLI solver.
