Dr Evangelia Founta is a Senior Research Assistant within the Flexible Nanoelectronics Lab in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. She earned her PhD in Electrochemistry within the same group, where she worked on flexible batteries based on biopolymer materials. Concurrently, she was an external PhD student to the department of Chemical Engineering, University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, and a visitor at the the department of Chemical Engineering, City College of New York.
She holds an MSc degree on Nanomaterials from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Ioannina, Greece. Her expertise lies in applying electrochemistry and materials chemistry concepts in flexible electronics applications.
