Research project: MHRN Early Intervention Group - Dormant - Dormant

This group was funded by a small grant from the Mental Health Research Network (MHRN) to develop studies to intervene with young children to prevent future problems.

The group developed protocols to apply to funding bodies. The group was a mixed group of researchers from universities around Britain. There are two distinct groups,

one to develop protocols for research applications for children with externalising problems:

1. an evaluation of the New Forest Parenting Programme (self help manual) for children with ADHD and
2. an evaluation of a programme for children with ADHD in reception classes;

and one for children with internalising problems, an evaluation of a programme for mothers with postnatal depression.
