We have three series' of workshops that are available for you to book for your students.
'Ask the Expert' is our way of getting your students in touch with our world-class researchers and academics. We have a range of free lectures and workshops available, across a wide variety of subject areas. The content of many of the sessions is directly related to the research being carried out by our academic staff. We can run sessions on campus or our academics are normally able to travel up to two hours to visit you in your school or college.

Students are given the opportunity to explore one particular theme from a variety of perspectives by attending a series of interdisciplinary workshops.
These conferences are free to attend for invited partner schools and colleges in Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
There are three conferences taking place throughout each academic year. The next conference will take place on Wednesday 12th July 2017:
Students will attend three workshops and explore themes connected to Cuban music, culture, politics and history. This day may be of particular interest to students with an interest in performing arts as it will include an introduction to a free song writing competition for the musical ‘Fidel’ – see www.fidelthemusical.org for more information.

Learn with US Research Days are designed to give year 12 students a superb opportunity to develop their research skills, and to experience life as an undergraduate at a research leading university.
Students will develop a range of skills beneficial to university learning and raising attainment. These include:
- Reading and engaging with academic material
- Finding and selecting appropriate sources and evidence
- Note taking, citation and referencing
- Thinking critically, forming arguments and presenting in a group
The 2018 Learn with Us Research Days will take place on:
