Who we are

Our Division includes academic specialists in sociology, social policy, economic and social history, anthropology, criminology and psychology.

We work together in interdisciplinary research projects addressing the most important issues affecting society today. Our track record in research has been recognised by the ESRC, which has established and funded several national centres at Southampton.

We offer a range of undergraduate degrees and taught masters programmes. We also welcome enquiries from people who want to study with us at postgraduate research level.
