Simulated courtroom

More Information

About the Simulated courtroom

The room contains a judge's station and seating for advocates and observers. Here you'll practise presenting and arguing hypothetical cases (known as 'mooting') before local barristers and judges.

You will 'moot' at least once in your first year. You can also take part in mooting workshops run by the student law society and the University's mooting society. Many of our students take part in national and international mooting competitions and events.
