The Past, Present and Future of Our Digital Societies -Join us on an exciting journey through human history, exploring how technology has shaped societies up to the present and the role education is playing in a new digital age. Digital and AI Literacy -Examine the digital skills and literacies students require to thrive in modern technologically advance societies. Digital Technologies in the Classroom -Critically consider how digital technologies are being used in schools and universities to enhance student learning. Personalised Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Education -Discover the possibilities and challenges big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence present for teaching and learning. Social Media and Education -Explore how social media is contributing to students’ development and mental health. Digital Equity in Education -Come to a deeper understanding of digital inequities in education and the barriers affecting students’ digital inclusion. Contemporary Debates in Digital Education -Collaboratively plan and participate in your own debate on an issue pertinent to digital education. Representation of Learners and the Digital Divide -Critically examine the (under)representation of different groups of students in digital spaces and the realities of the digital divide. Digital Divides and Mobilities -Delve deeper into the problems connected to digital divides and how these intersect with student mobilities

There will be one 2-hour in-person session each week. While teaching methods will depend on the circumstances, students, and content being addressed each week, sessions will include a range of student-centred approaches and interactive activities, along with content communicated by the teacher.
