About
Hannah is a researcher working to improve labour conditions for healthcare professionals, with a focus on developing and implementing complex interventions to enhance nursing shift schedules. Her work is informed by prior research on how shift patterns impact the well-being and autonomy of the health workforce, as well as studies promoting behaviour and organisational culture change within nursing teams.
Additionally, Hannah has researched how to help people live well with long-term conditions, with a particular focus on optimising dementia care. In this area, she has designed and evaluated complex interventions using qualitative process evaluation and survey methods.
Hannah has experience designing and performing research using quantitative and/or qualitative methods in the School of Health Sciences and the School of Geography at the University of Southampton. Her findings have been published in international journals and presented at conferences.
