Zoé is a Research Fellow within the Health Workforce and Systems research group at the University of Southampton.
Her research interest within the Health Workforce and Systems group is focused on applying micro-econometric methods to understand the effects of working conditions on the performance and retention of the health workforce.
She is currently working on an NIHR funded project that will investigate the impact of nursing shift patterns in acute, community, and mental health wards on work experience and patient outcomes.

Prior to joining Health Sciences, Zoé was a Research Fellow in Health Economics at the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) at the University of Aberdeen.
She applied a range of micro-econometric methods to investigate the behaviour and well-being of the healthcare workforce (nurse, medical doctors) in areas of mental health, work absence, and retirement. She also investigated public sector resource allocation to inform NHS funding in England.
