About

Daniil's research work is focused on Nonlinear and Stochastic Dynamics of complex dynamical systems.  This work involves mathematical and experimental modelling of dynamical systems, active control and passive tuning through optimisation of systems parameters for efficent energy harvesting,  vibration mitigation and nonlinear energy transfer.

Daniil has received a prestigious Russian Young Scientists award and he has led a number of industrial projects. He has published a monograph and over 180 technical papers in top peer-review journals in nonlinear dynamics and energy. He is elected as a Fellow member of The International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration, he is also a member of the EUROMECH and IFToMM, Associate Editor of Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, Vibration, Energies, Journal of Vibration Testing and System Dynamics and others. He held grants from EPSRC, the Royal Society. He regularly reviews proposals for the UK, EU and other international agencies and participates in the panels for EPSRC, the British Council,  and The Carnegie Trust.
