Those who have fully experienced a phenomenon have skills and knowledge that can be utilised in improving the quality of life for those still suffering.

I completed my undergrad at the St Marys University in Calgary, Canada, focusing on alcoholism—exploring the relationship between “rock bottoms” and personality.

I completed my Master’s degree at Adler University in Chicago USA, which was clinically focused. I worked with violence prevention teams, conducting qualitative research with those who had experienced gang violence. I also completed my clinical practicum working with women who experienced addiction and homelessness.
