Stable Isotope Mass Spectrometry Laboratory (SIRMS lab)

We are a world-class facility for high precision, high-throughput light stable isotope and elemental analysis of solids, liquids and gases specialising in climate, environmental, biological and archaeological research.

Coastal Research Laboratories

The Coastal Research Laboratories are dedicated to the study of coastal, estuarine and shelf sea hydrodynamics and sediment transport, and interactions between flow, sediment, ecosystems and infrastructure.

Palaeomagnetism and environmental magnetism laboratory

Our facility includes:

shielded room to support palaeomagnetism, rock and mineral magnetism and magnetic stratigraphy
