Our experts are developing next-generation digital technologies to improve health and wellbeing. These accessible devices will also enhance the way we learn, work and consume entertainment and culture.

We have expertise in a range of areas, from electronics to linguistics. Our aim is to make digital communications more accessible, particularly for people with complex communication issues such as deafness, speech impairments and autism. Our work builds on Southampton’s track record of innovations in areas such as assistive technology, machine learning, signal processing and 5G technologies.
