Some of the world’s leading cancer scientists and clinicians will come together this week at the Progress in Vaccination Against Cancer (PIVAC) conference to continue the fight against the deadly disease.
The three-day event (12-14 September) will focus on how vaccines can boost the body’s immune system to combat cancer.
The event will be chaired by Professor Christian Ottensmeier, of the University of Southampton, and include presentations on many aspects of tumour immunology.
The conference is managed on behalf of the Scientific Organising Committee by the European Association for Cancer Research.
