Student support and isolation

This page was updated on: 10/08/2021

We know it’s an uncertain time at the moment and that you may have questions about the support available.

If you become ill with COVID-19, are symptomatic, or are informed you need to self isolate, please know support is here for you. This includes support packages for students who need to isolate. Find out more on our Health webpage.

The wellbeing of our students is our highest priority so we’ve included some helpful resources that we encourage you to use, should you need them. You are always able to access our services to support your mental health and wellbeing, 24/7.

Are the self-isolation support packages still running?

Yes, our support packages will continue to run. Find out more about the student health support available if you need to self-isolate.

I’m currently in Southampton/Winchester. Will there still be things to do during the summer?

There are a number of activities taking place over the summer and we encourage students to check the SUSUs webpage to find out what activities are taking place.

Students are always welcome to join a club or society if they haven’t already.

Many of our on-campus facilities such as gyms and sports facilities, libraries, catering, study spaces and outdoor spaces have now re-opened in line with national guidance, so please do make use of them.
