I am an Associate Professor of Economics and I work on economic theory and game theory with a special focus on how individuals form networks and are influenced by peer effects. Consequently, I teach Intermediate Microeconomics and Microeconomics of Strategy in year 2 of several programmes in economics.

Current research
I work on economic theory and game theory. I study how individuals form networks, and how networks shape the opinions, beliefs, actions, or cultural traits of individuals. My research touches on areas of IO, environmental economics, financial markets, bargaining, and operations research.

Biography
I obtained an MSc in Mathematics and Economics from Bielefeld University (Germany) and an MA in Economics from the University of Georgia, Athens (US) before completing my Ph.D. in Economics at Bielefeld University where I worked as an Assistant Professor before coming to Southampton.
