Magnus Gregory is a Postgraduate research student within the Maritime Engineering group and the Institute for Sound and Vibration Research (ISVR), which is part of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

I am currently a postgraduate research student investigating sustainable marine structures under complex loading.

Before starting this project, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford where I graduated with a first class degree in MEng Engineering Science (2021). My research project for this degree was an investigation into the hydrodynamics of kayak paddles.
I also completed a summer research project to design test and build a hydrofoiling racing kayak. A video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHVKJzWXS1I

In my spare time, I enjoy kayaking and running.
