About

Nicole Collaço is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Psychosocial Research in Cancer (CentRIC+). 

Nicole is delivering on a range of projects for national and international organisations including the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), Wessex Cancer Alliance, and Macmillan Cancer Support. Nicole is coordinating health-related quality of life questionnaire projects which involve the development of measures to assess health-related quality of life for people with cancer. Nicole is also a member of the evaluations programme for CentRIC+, which is delivering a suite of evaluations on personalised care service innovations.

Nicole has previously worked on a variety of studies including a large multicentre prospective cohort study that explored recovery of health and wellbeing in people diagnosed with cancer (HORIZONS); a survey study that assessed the needs of children and young people with a serious condition and their parents during COVID-19 (SHARE study), a study that developed a nutritional awareness tool for use in remote pediatric consultations (Pedi-R-MAPP), and qualitative projects focused on supporting men with prostate cancer (Life After Prostate Cancer Diagnosis study).
