The Faculty Graduate school

As a member of the Faculty Graduate School, you will have access to excellent workshops, training programmes, study areas and media facilities, lectures by leading academics and professionals, and contact with senior researchers across the University.

Your supervisory team will work with you to identify the research skills training you need, available through a range of programmes offered within the School, Faculty and by the University's Researcher Development and Graduate Centre.

Training sessions cover research project management, preparation for examination and publication, as well as technical and practical skills appropriate to your project.

All postgraduate research students take part in regular research seminars, the PhD Student Forum, and exhibitions of research outputs; they present their research at conferences, including those held annually by the Faculty Graduate School; and they participate in inter-university symposia and other national and international academic events and exhibitions.
