Mrs Neelam Kalita BA (Hons), MA, MSc

Neelam joined SHTAC as a Research Fellow in Healthcare Modelling in August 2013. Neelam achieved promotion to Senior Research Fellow in January 2020.

She works on the economic evaluation of health technologies and contributes to evidence reviews of submissions to the NICE Single Technology and Multiple Technology Assessment Programmes.  Prior to joining SHTAC, Neelam worked as a healthcare modeller for a multi-national healthcare consultancy based in London and as research assistant at School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR), University of Sheffield. Her research areas of interest include public health interventions and infectious disease modelling.

Neelam was awarded a NIHR Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in November 2019 to investigate health economic methodologies in priority settings in adolescence.
