The Medical Research Council Lifecourse Epidemiology Unit (Dir. Prof Cyrus Cooper) conducting research in UK and overseas population cohorts;
The National Institute for Health Research Southampton Biomedical Research Centre (Dir. Prof Keith Godfrey), with its focus on nutrition, epigenetics and behaviour change
The Centre for Human Development, Stem Cells and Regeneration (Dir. Prof Richard Oreffo) which investigates early human development and fundamental stem cell biology
University Hospital Southampton joint initiatives to understand the impact of genome testing for patients with rare developmental disorders
The Global Health Research Institute a new initiative which involves colleagues in social and health sciences as well as medicine
