Research interests

I am interested in the evolutionary and ecological consequences of tropicalisation. My current research focusses on intertidal communities and the effects of tropicalisation on the interspecific interactions (and the ecological and evolutionary consequences associated with it). My previous worked focussed on the role of herbivory in shaping subtropical marine communities in the areas experiencing tropicalisation.

Research project: The Evolutionary and Ecological Consequences of Tropicalisation

Supervisors:

Dr Phillip Fenberg
Dr Marc Rius
Dr Suzanne Williams (NHM)

Funding: INSPIRE DTP (NERC)

Beyond my PhD projects:

“The role of herbivores in shaping subtropical coral communities in warming oceans.” (External)

“Reconstructing trophic networks across the early Toarcian Ocean Anoxic Event.” (External)
