Associate Professor in Marine Biology with a broad interest in ecosystem structure and function from the coastal zone to the open ocean. My research has focussed on gelatinous zooplankton and understanding the causes and consequences of jellyfish blooms on marine ecoystems and human activities.

Coordinate a 2nd year module on Zooplankton Ecology and Processes, as well as contribute to modules on Marine Invertebrates and Contemporary Topics in Marine Biology. I also supervise BSc, MSci and MSc dissertations.
