Talia is currently completing her PhD with the Health Workforce & Systems group in the School of Health Sciences. Her research involves exploring how to improve shift patterns for nurses working in acute hospitals using operational research (OR) methods. Her studentship is funded by the South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership (ESRC-SCDTP).

Biography
Talia completed her MRes in Clinical & Health Research at the University of Southampton in 2018 and her BSc in Biology at the University of Waterloo (Canada) in 2015. She previously worked as a Research Analyst at the Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care (Canada) and has completed various research internships in the charity and knowledge-brokering sectors.
