  • Applications: Operations Management: closed-loop supply chain management, production outsourcing, remanufacturing management (authorization and outsourcing), technology innovation, Nash bargaining, contract design.Marketing-Operations Management Interface: trade-in, strategic consumers behaviour, fairness concerns, anticipated regret.Marine Policy: clean technology innovation, abatement decision. Methodologies: Game theory, optimization.

About

Dr. Qin Zhou is a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor, USA) with the Department of Decision Analytics and Risk at Southampton Business School, University of Southampton, UK. She joined Southampton Business School in December 2022. She obtained her Ph.D. in Engineering from the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2023. Prior to that, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in management from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, in 2015. The foundations for her research lie in the fields of closed-loop supply chain management. Broadly, her research employs game-theoretical models to solve the problems that exist in firms’ manufacturing and remanufacturing processes.

  • B.Sc. in Management, Southwest Jiaotong University, China
