Interdisciplinary Dementia and Ageing Centre
We are a network that brings together local expertise from across the research spectrum within the University and University Hospital Southampton. Our aim is to increase understanding of dementia and brain ageing and how to treat and care for people with these conditions.

The Centre for Cancer Immunology's interdisciplinary research helps scientists and medics to collaborate worldwide. By bringing people together and sharing our expertise, we're working faster than ever before towards a cure for cancer.
Centre for Human Development, Stem Cells and Regeneration
The CHDSCR brings together researchers studying stem cells and development and ways to promote the regeneration of diseased or injured tissues. We aim to provide an environment where excellent scientists can make exciting discoveries for patient benefit.
Infection
We explore pathogens causing infectious diseases of global importance. Our research involves understanding how pathogens interact with their hosts and using this information to develop new vaccines, antimicrobials and diagnostics.
MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Centre
We study the determinants of musculoskeletal and metabolic disease throughout the lifecourse.
Nutrition, Endocrinology and Metabolism
Our mission is to understand disease processes and to improve lifelong human health and wellbeing through research and innovation in the areas of nutrition, endocrinology and metabolism.
