Have you ever wanted to start your own company? It’s as easy as riding a bike. Except your bike is on fire, you’re on fire and everything around you is on fire! In this talk, Ashley Abernathy, CEO of Analytic AI, will share his experiences of building disruptive technology driven companies. He will examine how he used decision analysis to manage the risks and uncertainties he faced in building his own successful company. He will share his secrets and provide all the tips and experiences that he wished he'd been given 5 years ago. He will also discuss issues such as how to convince investors that you have a great concept, validating ideas against real customers, hiring staff, delivering products and dealing with competitors.

Ashley Aberneithy, is the CEO of Analytic AI, (http://analytic.ai), a business aimed at optimising the hedging strategies of financial firms by exploring common heuristics and behavioural traits which exist amongst financial market traders. Ashley is also a Managing Director at Star Financial Systems, a disruptive technology company who build the latest generation of financial trading technology.
